Of the two units, one seems to work correctly but the other turns on and off intermittently in the dark. It stays on for 10-15 seconds, goes off, then turns back on in 30-60 seconds. It does this until the battery is dead, which is well before daylight.I’m trying to see if I can get it back to the “off” mode, so I can try resetting it to option C, which is what I wanted. When setting it originally, I might have pressed the button more than three times. It was hard to tell whether it was responding. So, I’m not sure whether it is defective or just operator error. Any help out there?Update: After turning the erratic one off and then back on with three presses, both units seem to be working correctly. I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I hung these up along my fence to light up my back yard. They seem well made. They throw off a decent amount of light. I’d love if the lights stayed in a little bit longer, but I knew the timing when I purchased them. I have them set to stay off unless they detect motion and they do their job in the morning before the Sun comes up too. I bought a second set because I was impressed with the first!

I like cuz solar… no need for batteries. I have had several of these a couple didn’t work when I got them. They do work for motion light for my dog kennel. I like to have it lighted at night when my dogs go out. They light their way n then go out after they come in. Nice appearance n hold up good with good coverage. Just a hassel when they don’t always work when you get them.

After trying and returning the CLAONER brand solar lights here on Amazon, I decided to give these a try. When I initially opened them, they were a lot smaller than I expected but after charging them in the sun for a day and leaving them on setting #3, they work great. I hang them on gates to light my path at night. The CLAONER ones died within 2 days. These are still going strong even on cloudy days.

It works well, the light is bright does what it is suppose to. However, it keeps going on and off repeatedly when no one is near it. The only thing in my back yard is a few trees off to side. Not in front of the light and my neighbor is also in his yard sometimes but maybe 50 feet away to the side of light and still it keeps going off. Not sure it if is super sensitive or malfunctioning, but still works otherwise.

Super easy to install, but I was hoping these would be a little brighter. I take the dogs out night to “do their business” and installed a couple of the lights around their area. It’d light up enough for me to see the dogs, but really wanted to see the area. It’s good enough to light stairs and smaller spaces, though.

Arrived today. Initially disappointed at the smaller than expected size in their small delivery box. Placed under the Upper East Coast, October lower sun from around 4pm until 6:48 dusk. Now..these little lights have luminescence so bright it hurts my eyes when looking at the light directly. Did not come with velcro strips but I have some on hand. I am so pleased that my small back yard has great light for my little doggy’s night time go potty. I had another brand for years and they worked well until recently so I will not disparage that company. Great thing about this duo is the lack of exterior parts the way the previous units had. I pray they continue to operate well as the chances of bright sun light diminish in the coming brrrr winter sun. I think they deserve a try. Will be hard to adjust the light mode preference if you attach them with screws as the push adjustment is at the back as others have mentioned.

Not very bright light and only lasts 30 mins or so from dusk when set to run on all night optionThe light is not that bright and when set to be on from dusk to dawn it only stays light for about 30 mins.
