My 9 year old is tall for his age. We were camping in cold weather and wanted a sleeping bag that wasn’t $100 but would keep him warm and would fit. This is a good youth size sleeping bag. It was 20-30 degrees at night, but he said he was warm.Only thing I did not like was having to deflate the pillow to roll it up.Light weight, not too big of a hassle to get in the bag like some sleeping bags are.

Like others have said, this isn’t truly a 3-season sleeping bag, unless you live in very mild climates. That said, it’ll do the trick for summer camping trips and backyard shenanigans the kids get into. I wish it didn’t have the dinosaur print, just because solid colors tend to withstand your kids aging better, but it’s not horrible. I haven’t had any problems with the stuff sack and like that it has straps for kids to carry it themselves. Our 9yr old just used it for a movie night and was happy and cozy. He didn’t use the inflatable pillow, which is a nice inclusion to the sleeping bag, but honestly, you’re not going backpacking with this thing, so you may as well use a regular pillow.

This is a really cute sleeping bag that is surprisingly good quality. The fabric feels like polyester, but it’s not unpleasant. It’s got a great flap on the inside to cover the zipper and a stiff ribbon to protect the zipper from catching, so that’s a really good design feature. The drawstring at the hood works really well and it is moderately warm. I don’t trust it for anything below freezing, but above I think it will work just fine. Also, the fill is stated as “3D inner synthetic fiber fill” on the listing, but the tag says “wadded silk”… so upgrade? It’s certainly warm and flat enough to be silk, but other than that i cannot confirm/deny the reliability of the tag.The storage bag is properly sized, but it’s not made quite as well as the rest of the bag. They used strapping with one layer of think polyester and I think it will get torn apart fairly quickly. There’s also no strap for the bag when rolled… so plan on needing to get a strap when the bag dies.Overall, I do recommend this sleeping bag, it’s very good for this price point. Just plan for the death of the storage bag.

The description says 3 season, but a true 3 season bag can get you to 40F or so so I don’t believe this would work for that. One of the images says it’s good down to 59F, which I believe based on the thickness of the bag and the fact that it claims it’s just cotton fill. So keeping in mind that this is really just a summer and LATE spring or EARLY fall bag, it’s a good sleeping bag. I saw complaints about the tote bag, but it seems similar in quality to every other sleeping bag tote I’ve used. The pillow is nothing special and is a little hard to inflate, but fortunately it doesn’t take much air, and seems to stay inflated pretty well.

I got this sleeping bag for myself and it is very nice for someone who is an infrequent camper. I am only 5″2″ so this child/teen sleeping and actually fit me very well. It isn’t warm enough to use winter camping, but for Spring and Summer camping it is great!
