1. How to test the lights?
It’s better to put the lights under the sunlight for about 3 hours for charging before the test. This product is a light control device so the solar panel must be completely covered before light testing. They can be turned upside down on the table or floor. Then turn the switch ON on the back of the panel. You will see the beautiful warm glow.
2. What should I do if the lights are broken while received?

I ordered a total of 4 of these solar garden light stalks. They arrived quickly, and I set them up using interior bright lamps to charge the solar cells but I had to wait a few days until weather allowed me to try them out in the garden. After a few nights I noticed that each of the 4 light stalks gave off varying amounts of illumination — in fact one appeared to just barely glow. I was disappointed but after rereading some reviews, I decided to try what one reviewer had done. I opened the case of one of the stalks, removed the Ni-MH AA 600m battery and used 2 different battery testers to determine the charge. Both testers registered barely any detectable charge. I put a brand new Ni-MH battery in the light’s case turned it on and it glowed nicely! Then I gathered up the 3 remaining light stalks, removed their batteries and inserted new ones. All 3 of them glowed as well as the first did. I’ve had them back in the yard for several weeks now and they continue to light up each evening and give off comparable soft illumination.All in all I am now pleased with these lights, but am still disappointed that I had to trouble-shoot them as much as I did. Luckily I had an unopened pack of 4 of the specified battery.Perhaps a removeable pull-tab would prevent the power loss of the batteries as they are in transit. All I know for certain is that by replacing the nearly dead batteries with new ones brought them back to life!

Put them in my plant pots in the afternoon and by that night they were brilliantly turned on. Solar panels worked great. Good quality all around. They look very bright and love the changing colors.

I am using these lights in my large plants. One inside my house and one outside. I like that they are easy to use. They are charged by the sun and come on in the evenings. They create great ambiant lighting. Iβve had several months and they are holding up fine. I liked mine so much I gave some as a gift to a family member that really admired them. 4 for brightness just because they are brilliant and can see them from a distance but probably canβt read by them. Beautiful!

The lights were smaller than expected. Thought they would be the size of ping pong balls but they were only about an inch.

I wasn’t sure where to put them at first. I tried them in garden but the solar panels seem to stuck out like sore thumb. I put them in my flower pots on stairs and they look great! I love seeing them lit up at night. Happy I kept them.
