The Crane Creek 3 Person Tent offers 42 square feet of comfortable, reliable shelter that’s ideal for camping and backpacking. When its durable, seam taped polyester fly is equipped, this lightweight tent becomes fully waterproof without sacrificing air circulation. Additionally, the tent’s vents can be propped open for ventilation if heat builds up inside the tent. The Crane Creek is equipped with two large, D shaped doors for easy access, and two spacious overhead vestibules that provide plenty of space for storing gear. Inside, you’ll find a seam taped floor to prevent leaks when conditions get stormy.

I’ve used this tent for dozens of 2-4 day backpacking trips for almost a decade. The 3p tent fits 2 adults very comfortably with space for gear. This is not an ultralight product but the comfort is worth the weight, bulk and price. The zippers still work like new. Setup is easy with hooks instead of sleeves. I’ve had no problems with condensation. No parts are broken or torn. Inside it has 5 pouches including 1 on the ceiling. There are felt hooks and a plastic hook to hang things from the ceiling.I’ve always carried this tent on the outisde of an external frame pack. It is large for a 60L pack. I’ve never split the load between 2 people but that would probably work.Like all 3p tents on the market, 3 adults will not fit comfortably in this tent. I like to sleep and camp comfortably in all weather conditions so this is perfect for me.I’ve never had water in the tent. If the tent is going to be in steady rain for 12+ hours, use an additional tarp over the tent as you should for all tents. But it is still waterproof under normal conditions.I plan on using this tent forever. Excellent product! Buy it!

Pros, design, quality are excellent. Cons, “slightly” heavy and large when packed for lightweight packing. But not too heavy. All in its great.

I bought this tent for kayak camping because I wanted a larger footprint tent. This tent is a little heavy for backpacking, but carrying it in the kayak is just fine. It’s larger than most other two person tents. Others might find the lime green mesh distracting, but I like it. It’s my favorite color. Tent is well made and very easy to set up.

I bought this for a canoe camping trip in the NY Adirondacks. It rained hard for 3 of the days we were out. It never leaked and seems very well made. Would definitely buy again.

Vents well, a little longer than some, but fits in my pack. Durable & I use it a lot.

It did the trick, but I would have expected it to fit correctly

Love the easy setup, easy takedown, and the convenience of double doors. No more crawling over someone to get to the door. So nice!!

Easy and quick to set up, very agreeable color that is a lot better looking than the current versions of this tent sold on the Marmot site. Overall, a well conceived design.

Excellent tent for three seasons (Spring Summer Autumn)Bought the three person Marmot Crane Creek for a camping weekend in the Lake District and found the tent to be very spacious for the two of us and also very waterproof, the first day it lashed down for 5 hours and not a drop came in, also found it to have excellent ventilation not a drop of condensation found whilst using it.The tent goes up inner first so will get wet if erecting in the rain, the tent only came with five hook pegs and six required if you are not pegging the inner tent down that would need an extra four but we were lucky and had enough extra pegs to peg inner tent and guy out the flysheet, also found that the four guy ropes only had three tensioners so you best check before leaving for your trip, we used two sleeping mats 50cm wide but you will not get a third mat in this wide. Overall an excellent tent for two people wanting to get away in the Spring Summer or Autumn.
