You read about dryer link deep inside a dryer catching fire. So after using my dryer for years and years, I got this item. It took me awhile to get around to using it though. So, not surprising, I had to study the pictures a long time to figure out there are actually two apparatus included— depending on your dryer configuration or your application. After choosing the right one, it was easy to attach to my vacuum, insert the hose and attachment in the lint trap; then, turn on the vacuum and start sucking up link from deep inside the dryer. I just slid it in and out and wiggled it all around. I feel safer having used it.

Wow, didn’t expect to see that much lint come up from the hose! So glad I ordered it and used it with my Shark vacuum cleaner. It attached to the hose fine and brought up a lot of lint. Also this lowers risk of a fire from accumulated lint.

I didn’t know my dryer was that full of lint 😳.it even pulled out a clip and the inside of a pen ( don’t know how that got there) great fit into my vacuum. Great for maintaining your dryer. Didn’t use the wire part I detached it – I didn’t need that on my machine.
