I read all the reviews before I purchased, much of which had terminology that I really didnt have a clue what they’re talking about but too lazy to learn more about tv’s. Life is short. Ok, one thing I noticed was that people said the sound wasnt so great. I figured maybe they were hard of hearing and besides I have a soundbar. Well, the reviews were correct. There is something about the sound that is odd. It isnt poor in many situations, but in some series or movies it is difficult to understand what is being said. That doesnt happen with news broadcast for instance, so I dont technically know why that happens. It is a feature that is a negative about this unit. I love the rest of it, the clarity, color, brightness. It’s awesome.The soundbar isnt a perfect solution, but I’ll live with it.

I bought the 50 inch version and measured my wall and the gap was exactly 50 inches so it would be perfectly flush against my wall. I had received the tv and once I had finished mounting it I noticed a huge gap. So I did what anyone else would do, I measured the tv. THE TV WAS 45 inches SMH. The box was 50 inches but the tv inside was 45. Everything else on the tv is perfect hence the reason I left 4 stars. But they should really put the actual size of the tv if it’s going to be 5 inches smaller because now I have a ugly gap on my wall.

I got the tv for a good sale price. Picture and sound is great!Half of the remote stopped working within a few hours! Support resolved quickly and was able to give me a partial refund to purchase a new remote. It was still extremely frustrating to have a brand new product immediately glitch out for no reason, but the customer service was extremely helpful and made me feel better about the situation.Pro tip. If this should happen to you…download the FireTV remote app on your phone to control the tv until the replacement remote you ordered arrives…

The TV works as intended. The apps are responsive and there is a wide range of options available.My only two issues are with the Hulu app and the YouTube app.Occasionally the Hulu app has issues where it will not allow me to access any user while logged in. I can scroll on the screen but when I select a name nothing happens. The only way I’m able to fix this is by force stopping the app through the app managment in the TV settings.Sometimes the YouTube app will crash during a video without warning.

I have had this 2 weeks now and I am pleased with this TV. A 65″ TV for under $380. is amazing for this quality. I am not tech savey about bites and bits and pixals but I think the picture is very good. The color is bright and clear. The sound is also to my liking because I’m not adjusting it for every show. We stream and have access to thousands of shows so the sound does need to be turned up or down sometimes. We do not play games with it so I cannot comment on that feature. It weighs almost 50 pounds so you will probably need a extra set of hands to move it safely. I was worried I would be unhappy with it and the quality would be reflected by the price, but that has not been the case. I am very satisfied with this TV.

We bought this TV for our bedroom and the picture and features were all we have grown to expect from a TCL/Fire TV. My only grouse is there is no 5G it seems, really a 2023 model TV with no 5G!!! Because of this it took many hours to download and activate all the options we regularly use and at least one of our services often does not want to stream on 4G. Dammit.The Bluetooth feature was a selling point as I often watch TV late at night using headphones and bought an inexpensive sound bar with a subwoofer for those times we want better bigger sound. Once these are paired anytime I turn on either device the TV automatically connects and disables the set speakers, very convenient. The remote uses the same familiar Fire format so all the buttons are natural to fins, I really do like this.Sound is important to me and the onboard speakers are about average, okay for casual viewing but not for music or louder movies and such. The optical out worked on some apps but not on others namely Netflix so I have to connect our sound bar by Bluetooth which works but is not optimal.

Instructions were not great but tv was pretty easy to set up. Great value for $250!The only negative was that it took me 3 hours to complete the on-line warranty registration (there was a malfunction with the web site and the customer service rep by phone was no help.
